Biographical Information B. Abbott Goldberg was born in Fitchburg, Mass., in 1916. He graduated from the University of Michigan and Harvard Law School. He moved to California in 1944 and taught four years at Hastings College of the Law in San Francisco. From 1948 to 1961 he was deputy and later assistant attorney general of California, handling the major litigation concerning the state's interest in the Central Valley Project. He also was in ...
